catching up...

...because I've received 6 packages since my last post and I am very close to comparing this to homework, and that's not good. Lately I've just being posting what I've received, but cared so much about the written stuff.... this is not gonna be different.

I am in the middle of a hard situation. My hardcore-buddy doesn't have the same spark for it anymore and it's taking me some time to accept :P

I'll try to post these in order after when I received them, first one's going first:

2x Pointing Finger 7"s from Nico (New Morality):

Pointing Finger/Pollution 7" Yellow vinyl w/ Wide Awake rip-off tour sleeve /100

Pointing Finger - Reasons, Not Rules on black vinyl:

Bane is continuing to do this realesing-7"s-on different-labels-within-a-short-period-of-time-thing, and here's their second 7" released on the Irish label Hurry Up Records:

Bane - Rome 12:58 on Magenta vinyl w/ blue haze /250. Colour is better seen below.

Next up is the first release from my good friend Dave's band Outlast (not the Swedish band)... Life To Live Records put up a pre-order package with all four colours (white being the exclusive pre-order colour /100). It also included a t-shirt, put they only had Small left, so this is like body-paint on me!

Pressing info:
White (numbered /100)
Clear /125
Blue /125
Black /150
Black test pressing /10

Here is my first post that include something besides hardcore (with the exception of Broadcast and Tom Waits). I haven't been updating my indie vinyls much (in comparison to hardcore), but here's a little update:

The New Pornographers - Mass Romantic (black vinyl, Matador Records)

..... And here's a little update to my skinny electronic vinyls (not very keen on much electronic music anyway

Yelle - Pop-up 2LP
This is a bit of a hard piece to find. Not that it's expensive at all, but it's just not available a lot of places. I had to buy this from a store in New Zealand for crying out loud!
It's electronic at it's best with female fronted vocalist singing in French... and my god she's charming. Unfortunately their best song Qui Est Cette Fille isn't on this record :(

Last up is my order from Get The Most. I got a hoodie and their double-pack 7" with their Tour sleeve /75:

#15/75:

  1. You should change my name into Nico (Revealed) instead of Nico (New Morality). I am not in the band, I am only helping them out from time to time as driver/roadie and such.

Very nice new records, you have acuired the last few weeks.
